Dr. Sandra Cuartas received her dental degree from the prestigious Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia, in 1992.
After working for a successful private practice for two years, her passion for her field and zest for knowledge carried her back to the Universidad Autonoma de Manizales School of Dentistry for a two-year specialization in Oral Rehabilitation.
After returning to private practice in Colombia for seven years, her and her family moved to South Florida. She was accepted to, and completed the competitive Prosthodontics residency program at Nova Southeastern University.
While at Nova, Dr. Cuartas completed research on several prosthodontic topics, including the prominent field of implant-supported over-dentures.
Additionally, she completed a two-month rotation, with an emphasis on removable prosthodontics, at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center. Dr. Cuartas remains actively involved in dental continuing education, and she is always updated on ever-breaking trends and treatments.
Her extensive skills includes everything from traditional crowns, bridges, and dentures to whitening, veneers, and dental implants. While not at the office, Dr. Cuartas enjoys watching her son play soccer. Furthermore, most of all she loves spending free time with her family.
